Mt. Helix Park Foundation

Accomplishments

Thanks to community support, we have made great strides since the Mt. Helix Park Foundation was created in 1999, including:

Ensuring that the Cross will remain an
East County icon and that this beautiful Park will remain open to the public for years to come.
Purchasing 3.4 acres adjacent to the Park for nature trails, a permanent restroom, and overflow parking.
Commencing construction of attractive entry and exit gates (a slow process, as we are relying almost entirely on donated goods and services).
Hiring an Executive Director to oversee operations at the Park.
Launching this interactive web site at www.mthelixpark.org.
Creating and distributing to the community our periodic newsletter, From the Top.
