• Virtual Strangers, bluegrass
• From the Californa wine country of Napa Valley, Virtual Strangers now call San Diego home entertaining folks all over the county. Founder Mike Tatar is a former president of the San Diego Bluegrass Society and has been playing banjo since 1977. The “Strangers” perform a mixture of traditional and progressive bluegrass material. Other band members include Yvonne Tatar on Upright Bass, Jon Cherry on Mandolin and Jim Blakemore on guitar and mandolin. You can see them perform live again tomorrow (Aug 28) and every forth Sunday of the month, at Urban Solace in North Park from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m..
