Helix Park needs you!  We currently are seeking volunteers to help plan the Third Annual East County Earth Day which will be held on Sunday, April 1.  Contact Peggy Junker at pjunker@mthelixpark.org  or at (619) 741-4363 if you can help on the planning committee or would like to volunteer that day to help set up, clean up, or volunteer in another capacity.

Mt. Helix Park needs your support now more than ever. Why? The Park gets no governmental funding so we rely on the generosity of people like you to keep the Park a vital resource for our community.  It costs roughly $10,000 per month to keep the Park open. That covers landscape maintenance, trash pick up, electricity, water, insurance, security and other expenses.  Every $10 counts. Without you, the Park could become a weed-infested, grafitti-covered place. Don't let that happen.  You can help by becoming a Friend of the Park by making a donation.

 

Another easy way to support Mt. Helix Park and Amphitheatre is by signing up your Ralph's REWARDS card for their community contribution program.   By signing up your card and selecting Mt. Helix Park as your charity of choice, a percentage of your Ralph's purchases will come to Mt. Helix Park.  The percentage depends on how much total is spent at Ralphs but every dollar counts.

To sign up, make sure you have your Ralph's card handy, go to Ralphs.com, click on Services, Community Contributions and Enroll. They will give you step by step instructions.  Once you enroll be sure to swipe your REWARDS card each time you shop.  This enrollment must be renewed each fall so don't forget to re-register annually to support Mt. Helix Park.
