What is a Legacy Donation?
Legacy donation or also known as planned giving, is a way for you to show your compassion and support for the Park for a future charitable donation. These amazing individuals that choose to remember the Foundation in their estate planning are what makes the crown jewel of East County great. When you give to the Mt. Helix Park Foundation you're helping ensure the future preservation of this historical Park.
Types of Legacy Donations

Stock and Bonds
Through this type of donation a person can transfer ownership of their bonds or stocks to the Mt. Helix Foundation.
Property and Physical Assets
Through this type of donation an individual can leave ownership of any real estate or, for example, a car to the Mt. Helix Foundation.
Wills or Trusts
Through this type of donation a person would include the Mt. Helix Foundation in their will or trust. This could be a specific dollar amount or a percentage of their estate.
In-Kind Donation
Through this type of donation an individual can donate a large range of personal property. It could include furniture, electronics, or any kind of personal property. This is tax-deductible as well.
Account Beneficiary
With this type of donation a person can put the Mt. Helix Foundation as a beneficiary of their
