Habitat Restoration Workdays occur the first Saturday of the month from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. (7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. during the months of August & September due to the heat) - All volunteers are welcome to participate. Learn from experienced restoration team leaders, meet other gardening enthusiasts and enjoy a morning of "gardening in the Park." GMIA New Year's Walk to the Top 

Join neighbors for the half-mile walk to the top to celebrate the New Year.  The annual event is sponsored by the Grossmont Mt. Helix Improvement Association (GMIA).  The morning culminates at Mt. Helix Park with refreshments and socializing.  This is a dog-friendly event. For more information visit the GMIA website HERE
