GMIA's 14th Annual Walk to the Top of Mt Helix, Sat. January 8, 2022,10 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Join the Grossmont Mt. Helix Improvement Association on Saturday, January 8 for one of their most popular activities – the 14th annual Walk to the Top to welcome the New Year. This event has grown each year as word spreads about the family and dog-friendly walk. It starts at the fire station at 10105 Vivera Dr., with a walking distance of 2/3 mile each way.

Stroll up Mt. Helix Drive behind their big yellow banner.

Habitat Restoration Workdays occur the first Saturday of the month from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. (7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. during the months of August & September due to the heat) - All volunteers are welcome to participate. Learn from experienced restoration team leaders, meet other gardening enthusiasts and enjoy a morning of "gardening in the Park."
