Food & Wine Festival
Mt. Helix Park's Food and Wine Festival is the Parks annual fundraiser/gala. Held in the end of summer, it has grown to become one of the area's foremost celebrations, attracting guests from all over the County who come to enjoy an evening from atop one of the region's best viewpoints.
The Mt. Helix Food and Wine Committee brings together some of the best culinary and beverage selections along with local bands and artists.
The Park's silent auction features unique items donated from local businesses and community members, along with private Park packages and San Diego experiences. All proceeds go to helping maintain this historical site.
Tickets go on sale the beginning of summer with discounted tickets for park members. Included in your ticket price is a ride to and from the park in one of San Diego's Old Town Trolleys. Also included is sampling from local restaurants, wineries, breweries and dessert shops.
2023 16th Annual Food & Wine Festival
Howdy partner! Join us August 19th for our annual Food & Wine festival. Ya'll guessed it right, our theme this year is Wild Wild West! Mosey on down to the main stage for some line dance lessons with Boot Scootin'. Test your new skills also on the main stage with local country band Whiskey Ridge from 5 PM - 10 PM. Take in the views and listen to some tunes at the second stage next to the cross with The Tradesmen 5 PM - 8 PM. Bid on some amazing loot in our silent auction ending at 9 PM. Chow down on samples from all the best saloons and restaurants. from 6 PM to 8 PM.
Park your horses and cars at Grossmont High School and the Old Town Trolleys will take ya'll all the way to the top! Our VIP guests get up and close parking located at the San Miguel fire station #21 and get early admission at 5 PM. General admission for Cowboys and Cowgirls starts at 6 PM. Hope to see ya'll there, YEE HAW!
