Malosma Laurina or Laurel Sumac, also known as “Taco Plant,” is an evergreen shrub that can grow up to 20 feet in height and 20 feet in width. It produces small 5-petaled white flowers that occur in clusters from late spring to early summer. Very drought tolerant, this shrub is another keystone plant of the coastal shrub ecosystem. Specimens of this plant can be found throughout the Park with several easily visible from the road to the cross.
